Our provides an excellent blend of power and performance. Featuring a 65-hp, Tier-4-Final Kubota engine, this versatile machine has plenty of power to excavate, grade and maneuver on the job site. The TL6R’s 6 ft.5.8-inch height and 5 ft. width allow it to excel on small or constricted job sites. The machine’s interior of the machine has rocker switches and an intuitive, color, multi-informational display laid out overhead within easy reach of the operator. Low-effort pilot controls deliver unmatched precision and easy handling to minimize operator fatigue. A rear-view camera and wide-angle rear-view mirror provide greater peace of mind during operation. The Takeuchi Fleet Management System (TFM) gives owners the ability to remotely monitor their machines’ health, location, service and maintenance and operating hours to minimize downtime and control costs.

Operator’s station:

The TL6R is available with a canopy or cab, depending upon your preference. The tilt-up, ROPS/FOPS structure features an operator’s station with a deluxe, adjustable suspension seat and a rear-pivoting seat bar with an integrated arm rest. Pressurized cab models have a swing-out door, A/C, heat, defrost and front wiper, AM/FM/MP3 radio with NOAA weather band.

The engine:

Powered by a Kubota V2403-CR-TE4B turbocharged diesel engine delivering 65.2 hp and 144.3 ft-lb of torque, the TL6R delivers an exceptional blend of power and performance. A DOC plus DPF exhaust aftertreatment system ensures compliance with current Tier-4-Final EPA emissions standards for more environmentally friendly operation. Two working modes – power and ECO – allow you to maximize fuel economy and power requirements. The machine’s tilt-up cab, heavy-duty rear door and large, lockable service hoods provide easy access for daily maintenance checks and service.

The design:

The TL6R’s radial-lift loader design provides greater mid-height reach for backfilling and higher bucket-breakout and lift-arm forces, making it ideal for grading and dirt work. Spin-turn assist automatically shifts the machine to low-torque mode to help when performing spin turns. The TL6R’s all-steel construction increases strength and rigidity while protecting vital engine and hydraulic components. The machine’s hydraulic system features a primary circuit with 17.8 gpm of auxiliary flow making it a very capable attachment platform.  Attachment coupling is made easy with our mechanical universal quick-attach on canopy models and hydraulic universal quick-attach on cab models.

Undercarriage:

A combination of double- and triple-flange track rollers always maintain at least two points of contact, making the TL6R far less susceptible to de-tracking. The machine’s quiet ride track design greatly reduces noise and vibration, keeping operators more comfortable in the seat for longer periods of time. An open-frame design with multiple integrated cross members for greater strength and easier clean-out. Larger bearings result in slower shaft speeds for longer component life.

Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM):

TFM is a feature available on all of our current excavator models. It allows you to see a broad, real-time view of a single machine or a whole fleet, which saves time and money on maintenance intervals and service calls. TFM is standard equipment for two years of service. It is designed to remotely connect you to your Takeuchi machines. TFM provides alerts and machine information, including location, performance and maintenance data, giving you insights into where and how the excavator is utilized.
