Atlanta, GA (March 24, 2021): Global Machinery will now offer Takeuchi equipment from its newest location at 775 West Elwood Street in Phoenix, Arizona. This location joins Global Machinery’s Sacramento, California and Boise, Idaho locations that also sell and support Takeuchi’s compact equipment, including excavators, track loaders and wheel loaders. The Phoenix location’s sales territory will encompass Arizona’s Maricopa, Yavapai, Gila and Pinal counties.

Global Machinery specializes in providing equipment solutions for a variety of segments of the construction industry. When it was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1994, Global Machinery established associates throughout the world to market quality used equipment and service support to markets in South America and Southeast Asia. In 1996, Global Machinery expanded into the rental business, followed in 1999 by opening a new location in Sacramento. Since 2003, the company has continued to expand its product offering and industry scope to include multiple equipment categories, and eventually opened a new headquarters location in Denver followed by its Boise location in 2020.

“Takeuchi will be our primary product line at this new location,” said Jeff Brown, president of Global Machinery. “We’ve had great success offering Takeuchi at our other locations, and we’ve seen the difference that Takeuchi equipment can make for our customers. We’re looking forward to introducing more heavy equipment owners and operators in Southern Arizona to Takeuchi in the months and years ahead.”

Global Machinery plans to hire up to five outside sales representatives to promote the Takeuchi product line. All sales personnel will attend a Takeuchi sales training class, and the company will also send at least one representative each year to Takeuchi’s corporate sales school in Pendergrass, Georgia.

“Global Machinery has a proven history of providing top-notch sales and service to contractors, utilities, and municipalities in the markets they serve,” said Guy Waggoner, Western region business manager for Takeuchi-US. “We’re pleased to have them represent the Takeuchi brand in the growing Phoenix metropolitan area, and we look forward to supporting their efforts in this new venture.”
